MS has had a very good run despite the 360 flaws and the competition. I am also looking forward to the next gen MS console. I was going to delay my purchase of one given the 360 rrod issues but, now I am back on day one purchase status.

This article completely ignores key factors that made halo the game it is today.
1. The xbox: It alone made LAN game sessions easily achievable in campus dorms, military barracks, tent cities, and homes. Halo was the perfect excuse for a LAN party. And it was a launch title for the system. I never seen one single ps2 LAN party in all my days of gaming that can compete with the number of xbox LAN parties.
